Healthy Mumma’s Prenatal Workshop: Prevent - Prepare - Repair will give you the tools, exercises and evidence-based information that will grow your confidence and empower you to move safely, move well and move forward during pregnancy, birth and motherhood. This 4-week workshop is built on the latest research and years of clinical practice. Presented by Ottawa’s foremost pre and postnatal osteopathic manual practitioner and athletic therapist, Shauna Ironside.

Prevent Prepare Repair Fall 2022
Are you ready for the physical strains of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood? This time is not easy on your body, but so many of the injuries, aches and pains associated with this crazy physical time in your life can be prevented, minimized, and effectively repaired. Prevent prenatal injuries, prepare for birth, and learn how to repair and return to exercise postpartum, educated and empowered.
Topics include pelvic health (incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic girdle pain), diastasis recti abdominis, and other pregnancy-related injuries. Learn how to safely work your core and pelvic floor muscles, understand your postural tendencies, learn how to tap into your breath for optimal movement, birth and healing, learn how to prepare for birth and how to effectively repair postpartum and return to the activities you love.
